Four values, and the day-to-day practice that follows from each. Estate planning is a long relationship, and these are the rules of it.
- Expertise
Estate planning is a regulated profession, and there is no good reason for the public to settle for unqualified advice. Our consultants are trained, qualified and continuously supervised. Sara is a Trust and Estate Practitioner and a Fellow of the Society of Will Writers. She also serves as Vice-Chair of the SWW Professional Standards Board.
- Clarity
Most clients arrive without the language to describe what they need. Our job is not to test their vocabulary; it is to listen, work out what they actually want, and explain the options in words that make sense. No legalese, no jargon, no rushed jargon-laden quotes.
- Affordability
Estate planning should be accessible. We publish our prices, we explain what is and is not included, and we give clear written quotes before any work begins. Clients should never be surprised by a bill.
- Continuity
A Will written today is not necessarily the right Will in five years. We stay in touch with clients, offer free reviews of Wills we have written, and treat the relationship as ongoing rather than transactional.
How values translate into practice.
Values mean nothing without behaviour. Expertise means a TEP-level adviser drafts every document and reviews every plan. Clarity means we publish our prices, explain options in plain English and never sell. Affordability means a fixed quote in writing before we start, with no surprises afterwards. Continuity means we stay in touch when life changes, and we offer a free review of every Will we have written.
